Michelle was inspired by the modern, minimal shapes of vintage hat boxes and rattan/straw woven bags. The idea was to create a modern but timeless version of marine grade handbags. Weatherproof and made in the USA

Living on the coast of Maine, Michelle observed lots of different variations of the same type of bag and wanted to create something with style and structure and easy to clean.  Handbags that can go from the beach to the cocktail bar, made for the stylish, sophisticated and fashion forward person.

Handbags are named after women in the marine world.
